Delhi n around cont...

Yep last we were all in th IPL(Indian Public Limousines) of India. My first stop was the famous Palika Bazaar. You leave the bus and enter the state of utter confusion from wich gate to enter this underground fully airconditiond(???) odyssey. Still you manage to chose a gate to enter when again you are stopped by security personels to check your belongings. My back pack was thouroughly examined asking about all the things whih they didnt understand 'ye kya hai?', whats this. When on the verge annoyance and of dropping my plans and leaving to visit some other place they miraclously left me but just to annoy some other foreigners with backpacks. Still i was relieved that now m free to go in. Well in Palika i had this errand of changing a 250GB pendrive which one of mine friend has baught in his trip a week ago. I located the shop asked the person to change it with some other pendrive. He said the smallest storage capacity pendrive he has is 32 GB. So i asked him to change it with four 32 GB p.d,next he was laughing he said that we sell the 32GB pd for 4oo bucks as wel the 250GB pd so he can give me only 1 32GB pd in lieu of that 250GB pd.I had no way out from this situation so i said yes for the deal and got that 32GB pd later to find out that it had mere 400MB sapce in it. Yes this is what palikas about cunning negotiations, place for constant look out. I say if a person has to try out his street smartness level ,he gotta shop in palika for a day and tell us the results. Palika's A paradise for our smart mothers who like haggling even for a buck. Theres plenty of oppotunity in palika for that. After Palika my entire delhi trip went quite eventless only a lot of backpacking was don1e on the concrete roads. few picks are here.

This one above is very fascinating small fountain attached to a mobile fridge u give the person 1Rs. and out comes the water through that cute tap to quench your thirst. Enjoyed lots of such water glasses during the trip.

Totured by the scorching sun and surroundrd by the rajpath concrete i took thus picture s that i can loathe this materialistic world a bit more.

Next comes my trip to Meerut and Agra with lots of pics.. byee fom Delhi noww.

Moment Snatchers...

Woke up groggily to the faint vibrations of my cell phone at xactly 2 in the morning . Of course Sritam was on other side mad with excitement he was not asking but yelling 'Anant Guess where i am?' Well i knew he was going back from Mumbai to his college. So my guess was that may be his stay in mumbai has extended a but i was wrong. Actually he was................

He was sitting in remotest part,on the sand on R.K Beach in Vizag at 2 'o' clock in the morning , some 1100K.Ms away from home where his kin cherished thoughts of this member of their family cozily winding his way up his college in the most comfortable and luxuriest way the present age transport could provide.
He was sitting with his weight on his elbows, half lying with his torso keeping his head above his shoulders, his knees were half bent and through his knees he could watch the white froth being pushed towards him by an unseen bulldozar but somehow when that froth tried to engulf him to demolish his conciousness and to take him down with them,to convert him into one of the sand particles scatterd around, which form the part of the lonesome beach, suddenly then they changed their mindand retreatto the dark abyss lying behind them without him.

Looked at the full moon above then looked around and a triumphant little smile adord his face as he realised he was satisfied by this moment,as he knew that this satisfaction is different from those people satisfaction who say that they deserve it thats why they got it and in turn thats why they are happy but here this moment ,No! he cannot deserve such a beautiful moment .He lied to his parents to be presnt here at this moment ,he is back on assignments in college,he has shirked on many a jobs,he didn't ever do his work with conviction,he has never done anything virtous ,he has never followed the conventions of his society ,he never did trust god,he even denied the presence of .................and now today at this moment he knows that ethically what he is watching is beautiful . He liked the solitude the scenery, the moonlight, the roaring waves but he never deceived himself even for a minutesimal fraction of time that he deserved to be present at this spectacle of nature and he was happy baecause he has snatched this moment from people called destiny. He has robbed this moment from whom people call thr Prime mover and the little satiated smile on his face is the proof of the glory of this perfectly pulled job of undeserved moments from the hands of those who deserve it and live such compleacent lives .Finally the waves failed to make him just another grain of sand ,as he stands tall on the spot ,wet sand crushed under his feet ,looks last time mockingly around and at the same time impressed at the scenery and turns to leave.

Homespun perfection.

Hey every1, a break from those long windy narrativs of my ghumakkadshashtra and dive head long in more sophisticated world of poetry. Went to a party yesterday where this piece formulated in my mind....

Watching this suspended animation,
This sculpted perfection,
Exalting existence.
An ending anarchy.

Silhouette of poetry,
Heir of Apollo,
Poise of healers,
Heart of cliched depths.

Capturing her still moves.
This unworldly creation.
Static flow.
A euphoric realization.

Kudos! for shaping this flawless lady
who will abide by the rules of your(sick) society.

Delhi n around

Constant Call of the wild which took its toll finally in the concrete jungle of New Delhi, Agra, Meerut and Noida. Ufff.. just back from the most excruciating travel experince of my life. The trip started off with a bagpack and lots of plans of accesory shopping fr the bike and some books which were not to be found in the tinsel but jovial town of Indore. First day in Noida spent exactly planned. My visit to Firefox made me a proud owner of Odometer, gunmetal pedals and a Nylon tyre however by the end of the day my passbook showed a serious drop in the funds which made me put a check on my shopping spree.

Next step was to open my eyes and mind to watch the delhiites around me. I've been a frequent visitor to Delhi and know the Desi temprament there which recently used to annoy me a lot. Those air headed people with pseudo attitude, trying to fake every single thing in front of u however this time i noticed that after years of faking things these innocent people have been succumbed to their act and have been trapped in that show off role eternally. Real confusd but bound to show confidence. So this time it was not annoyence but pity that came up as the main emotion aftr watching this middle class delhiite society.

Took my back pack next day equipped with a delhi map, an onion in the pocket of my jeans(to save me from the hot wind blowin around in summers), a waterbottle in my bag and a list with name of the destinations i had to visit that day which included palika,Dariyaganj,Some govt offices on Janpath including Office of tourism..

AAfter a long break of around two years i had the privilege of getting a ride on Indian public Limousine. The DTC(Delhi Transport Corporation). The only teeny weeny problem was that u had no place to move ur hands, move ur feet or even to change the angle of ur nose to find another open patch of air through where u can breathe some fresh air. Later on i changed the bus and which was a real breather because atleat in this bus i had space to click some shots to give u guys an idea of this ultimate indian ride.
The time is 2 aftrnoon, Temprtre is 42 deg. celsius. No room even to stand still urs truly got this shot.. next ive got loads of stuff fr u guys i have just started....

Isolation somewhat isolated.

Hi all,
woke like all the other days since last 3 yrs way past aftr the alarm time ,ligering guilt in the back of my head fr oversleeping, thinking hard on which page i left the book i was reading last night, didnt even try to search fr my mobile which i hadnt seen fr lik 2 days and whose phone book comprises of hardly 13 ph. nos.,straightend my thoughts on todays schedule which comprise of the most importent task of last few weeks i.e to visit an engg college regrding a quiz competetion in which i'd be the quiz master. From my end it was a major attempt to shake off the ice of isolatn which has settled on my shoulders and was earning me a reputation of an antisocial and on the other hand aftr bieng in this initially forced hybernation which eventually grew on me i thought to check out on the outside society whose part(n imp1)i was once, n for whose recgnition i was ready to shine their shows with my tongue. The society which i calld the my types, the society which looked like the only safe haven on earth, the society where all are equal(?), the mediocres.
So with some anticpation to know the fate of this so called society i embarkd upon the journey to th college. To cut thelong story short let me conclude it. well at the end of the day two things happened one i saw that yes they have changed but unfortunately not fr the good, second thing was time flew so fast that i didnt even see it flyin past me(good part) however out of the entire days work the output was A big ZERO(bad part).
now m back in my house the final quiz is tomorrw where i will be obliged by the hooting, overexcited, overly worked up crowd of several colleges. So lets see what happens 2mrw. Will keep u posted ,rather me.
Have a look at the evnts poster. Courtsy Aditya Desai
