Yep last we were all in th IPL(Indian Public Limousines) of India. My first stop was the famous Palika Bazaar.
You leave the bus and enter the state of utter confusion from wich gate to enter this underground fully airconditiond(???) odyssey. Still you manage to chose a gate to enter when again you are stopped by security personels to check your belongings. My back pack was thouroughly examined asking about all the things whih they didnt understand 'ye kya hai?', whats this. When on the verge annoyance and of dropping my plans and leaving to visit some other place they miraclously left me but just to annoy some other foreigners with backpacks. Still i was relieved that now m free to go in. Well in Palika i had this errand of changing a 250GB pendrive which one of mine friend has baught in his trip a week ago. I located the shop asked the person to change it with some other pendrive. He said the smallest storage capacity pendrive he has is 32 GB. So i asked him to change it with four 32 GB p.d,next he was laughing he said that we sell the 32GB pd for 4oo bucks as wel the 250GB pd so he can give me only 1 32GB pd in lieu of that 250GB pd.I had no way out from this situation so i said yes for the deal and got that 32GB pd later to find out that it had mere 400MB sapce in it. Yes this is what palikas about cunning negotiations, place for constant look out. I say if a person has to try out his street smartness level ,he gotta shop in palika for a day and tell us the results. Palika's A paradise for our smart mothers who like haggling even for a buck. Theres plenty of oppotunity in palika for that. After Palika my entire delhi trip went quite eventless only a lot of backpacking was don1e on the concrete roads. few picks are here.
